دعا سيدي محمد ولد عبد القادر، نجل الكولونيل الموريتاني محمد ولد اباه ولد عبد القادر، المعروف باسم “كادير”، إلى الكشف عن مكان دفن والده ورفاقه الذين أعدموا بعد المحاولة الانقلابية عام 1981، وتسمية شارع في نواكشوط عليه.
ووجه نجل كادير نداء إلى الرئيس الموريتاني محمد ولد عبد العزيز يطالب فيه بضرورة الكشف عن مكان دفن والده لتتمكن أسرته من زيارته.
وكان كادير، القائد السابق لسلاح الجو الموريتاني، قد قاد محاولة انقلابية ضد نظام الرئيس محمد خونه ولد هيدالة، يوم 16 مارس 1981، انتهت بإعدام الكوماندوس يوم 25 مارس، أي بعد تسعة أيام من الانقلاب؛ ولم يكشف منذ ذلك الوقت عن المكان الذي دفن فيه قادة المحاولة الانقلابية.
وقال سيدي محمد ولد عبد القادر في مقال نشرته صحيفة “جون آفريك” الناطقة بالفرنسية، إنه “يود أن يشكر الرئيس الموريتاني محمد ولد عبد العزيز لأنه أعاد الاعتبار لوالدي ورفاقه عام 2011”.
وأضاف ولد عبد القادر: “لقد آن الأوان ليكشف لنا عن مكان دفنه، حتى تتمكن عائلته من زيارته”، داعياً في الوقت ذاته إلى أن “يحمل أحد شوارع نواكشوط اسمه، فهو من أنقذ العاصمة نواكشوط من هجوم البوليساريو عام 1976، الهجوم الأخطر في تاريخ البلا
