كشفت وزارة الصحة المغربية أن انتشار فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية الإيدز يظلّ منخفضاً بالبلاد بنسبة 0.1 في المائة بين السكان. وتبيّن آخر التقديرات أن العدد الإجمالي للأشخاص المتعايشين مع الفيروس يناهز 24.000 وعدد الإصابات الجديدة 1200 سنوياً.
وأكدت الوزارة في بيان لها، الأربعاء، بمناسبة تخليد المغرب، على غرار باقي دول العالم، اليوم العالمي للإيدز في 1 ديسمبر/ كانون الأول من كل سنة، تحت شعار “لنضع حدا للإيدز”، على أهمية الوقاية وتقليص مخاطر التعرض للإصابة بفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية، والولوج إلى العلاج ومكافحة الوصم والتمييز.
وبحسب المصدر نفسه، فقد تم تحقيق تقدم كبير فيمكافحة هذا الداء، وذلك بفضل الجهود المبذولة من طرف مختلف المؤسسات الوزارية ودعم الشركاء الدوليين وكذا جمعيات المجتمع المدني.
وتوسعت منذ سنة 2012، عملية الكشف عن الفيروس، لِتَبلُغَ أكثر من مليوني فحص وتقليص نسبة الأشخاص المتعايشين مع الفيروس الذين يجهلون إصابتهم، من 70 بالمائة سنة 2011 إلى 51 بالمائة في نهاية سنة 2015. وفي السياق نفسه، تضاعف عدد الأشخاص الذين يتلقون العلاج المضاد لفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية، وانتقل من 4.047 في سنة 2011 إلى 9.860 نهاية يونيو/ حزيران 2016، وذلك باعتماد آخر توجيهات منظمة الصحة العالمية بما فيها مفهوم “الكشف ثم العلاج”.
وتهدف وزارة الصحة إلى تسريع الاستجابة للإيدز، وينتظر في سنة 2020 الوصول إلى 90 في المائة من الأشخاص المتعايشين مع الفيروس الذين يعرفون إصابتهم، مع ولوج 90 في المائة منهم إلى العلاج المضاد لهذا الفيروس، وحذف الحمولة الفيروسية عند 90 في المائة من أولئك الذين يتلقون العلاج، وذلك من أجل القضاء على هذا الوباء في أفق سنة 2030، وفقا للالتزام بتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
وتنظم الوزارة بالتعاون مع شركائها من القطاعات الحكومية والمجتمع المدني، في الفترة ما بين 1 و9 ديسمبر/ كانون الأول 2016، حملات الكشف عن الفيروس والتوعية بمخاطر الإصابة لفائدة الشباب والنساء في طور الإنجاب، ودورات توعوية لفائدة مهنيي الصحة من أجل مكافحة الوصم والتمييز في المرافق الصحية
