أعلنت 5 دول فى منطقة ساحل أفريقيا اتفاقها على تشكيل قوة موحدة “لمكافحة الإرهاب”. واتفق قادة دول مالى وتشاد والنيجر وبوركينا فاسو وموريتانيا على قرار تشكيل القوة التى ستتفرغ لمواجهة “الجماعات المتشددة” فى المنطقة.
وقال الرئيس التشادى إدريس ديبى، اليوم الثلاثاء، إن الدول الأعضاء فى المجموعة تقع على “خط المواجهة ضد الخطر الإرهابي”.
وأضاف أن الدول المشاركة ستسعى للحصول على تمويل للقوة المشتركة من الاتحاد الأوروبي، مشيرا إلى أنها ستوفر على أوروبا الزج بجنودها فى عمليات فى أفريقيا فى وقت “يتنامى فيه خطر الإرهاب”.
جاء الاجتماع الذى ضم الرؤساء الخمسة بعد أسابيع من هجوم “انتحارى” شنه “متشددون” فى معسكر للجيش قرب مدينة جاو فى مالى خلف نحو 80 قتيلا
