من هو قيس؟
هو قيس بن الملوح بن مزاحم بن عدس بن ربيعة بن جعدة بن كعب بن ربيعة بن عامر وهو مجنون ليلى ، عشق كل منهما صاحبه ، وقد أصابت قيساً لوثة جنون لشدة عشقه لها فلقب بالمجنون ، قال الأصمعي: (لم يكن محموماً ولكن كان فيه لوثة كلوثة أبي حية) ويقول ابن قتيبة : (وهو من أشعر الناس وتلوث شعره بكثير من الأساطير والانتحالات والمقولات فصار كل من يقول شعراً في ليلى ينسبه للمجنون ) .
ومن هي ليلى ؟
هي ليلى بنت مهدي بن سعد بن مهدي بن ربيهة بن الحريش بن كعب بن ربيعة بن عامر
عاشا صغيرين في ديار بني عامر بالقرب من جبل التوباد في بلدة الغيل في الأفلاج يرعيان غنم أهلهما وقد عاش هذان العاشقان في خلافة مروان بن الحكم وعبد الملك بن مروان وتبلورت العلاقة بين الصغيرين مع مرور عقارب الساعة حتى عشق كل منهما صاحبه وفي تلك الحياة الرومانسية الخاصة احتفظت ذاكرتهما بمواقف باسمة شهد عليها المكان والتاريخ لكنهما في الوقت ذاته لم يتجاوزا الخطوط الحمراء التي حرمها الشرع والعرف فظلا تحت وطأة العشق العذري ردحاً من الزمن حتى قال المجنون :
تعلقت ليلى وهي غرُّ صغيرة
ولم يبدُ للأتراب من ثديها حجم
صغيران نرعى البهم ياليت أننا
إلى اليوم لم نكبر ولم تكبر البهم
وكان غار قيس في جبل التوباد يمثل ملاذاً آمناً لصاحبه حيث ينعزل فيه عن أعين الناس بليلى حتى تمكنت من قلبه وفي لحظة من الزمن خرج المجنون من الغيل وهجره مدة محدودة لغرض أنجزه ثم عاد إليه وقدم إلى جبل التوباد ووصف اللقاء بقوله :
وأجهشت للتوباد حين رأيته
وكبر للرحمن حين رآني
وأذرفت دمع العين لما عرفته
ونادى بأعلى صوته فدعاني
وهذا يؤكد أن جبل التوباد ظل شاهداً على العشق فقد كان له حضور قوي في مسلسل الحب الخالد وأراد قيس أن ينهي صراع الغرام فتقدم لعمه يريد ليلى لكنه رفض لحكم العادات العربية التي تنبذ العشق حينما تكتشفه فتعاقب صاحبيه بالحرمان من بعضهما كأبسط عقاب يلحق بهما
لحظة الفراق :
حينما أعلن والد ليلى حرمان قيس منها رحل بها إلى تيماء بعيداً عن كلام الناس وهذا ما أجج نيران شوق وغرام العاشقين حتى لمعت نجوم قصيدهما في جانب الغزل والغرام حتى وصل بهما إلى الهيام لا سيما قيس الذي هام في الصحاري على وجهه بحثاً عن أطلال ليلى وعزز فؤاده بالصبر على أمل لقيا ليلى وفي ذلك يقول :
ألا أيها القلبُ اللجوجُ المعذلُ
أفقء على طلاب البيض إن كنت تعقلُ
أفقء قد أفاق الوامقون وإنما
تماديك في ليلى ضلال مضلل
سلا كل ذي ود عن الحب وارعوى
وأنت بليلى مستهام موكل
إلى أن قال :
تعزّ بصبر واستعن بجلادةٍ
فصبرك عمن لا يواتيك أجمل
فحبي لها حب مقيم مخلدُ
بأحشاء قلبي والفؤاد معلل
أما ليلى فاحتضن فؤادها قسوة العشق والفراق حتى انفطر ألماً ومما يؤكد ذلك ما رواه ابن قتيبة في كتابه الشعر والشعراء ص :
735(أنه خرج رجل من بني مرة إلى الشام مما يلي تيماء فإذا هو بخيمة عظيمة وقد أصابها المطر فتنحنح فإذا امرأة قد كلمته فقالت انزل فنزلت وراحت إبلهم وغنمهم فقالت يا عبد الله أي بلاد نجد وطئت ؟ فقلت كلها قالت بمن نزلت فقلت ببني عامر فتنفست الصعداء ثم قالت هل سمعت بذكر فتى يقال له قيس يلقب بالمجنون فقلت أي والله نزلت بأبيه وأتيته ونظرت إليه قالت وما حاله قلت يهيم في تلك الفياض ويكون مع الوحش لا يعقل ولا يفهم إلا أن تذكر له ليلى فيبكي وينشد أشعاراً يقولها فيها قال فرفعت الستار بيني وبينها فإذا شقة قمر لم تر عيني مثلا قط فبكت وانتحبت حتى ظننت والله أن قلبها قد انصدع فقلت أيتها المرأة أما تتقين الله فمكثت طويلاً على تلك الحال من البكاء ثم قالت :
ألا ليت شعري والخطوب كثيرة
متى رحل قيس مستقل فراجعُ
بنفسي من لا يستقل برحله
ومن هو إن لم يحفظ الله ضائعُ
ثم بكت حتى غشي عليها فلما أفاقت قلت ومن أنت يا أمة الله ؟ قالت أنا ليلى المشؤومة عليه غير المواسية له فما رأيت مثل حزنها عليه.
روح ليلى تسبق قيس إلى القبر
رحلت ليلى عن الحياة دون أن تودع قيساً وداعاً حاراً يعبر عن ما يجول في خاطرها تجاهه كما أنها تركته دون أن يلقي إليها النظرة الأخيرة وقد وجد في الديوان المنسوب إلى أبي بكر الوالبي نص قاطع بوفاتها قبله وذلك أنه مر به فارسان فنعيا إليه ليلى وقالا له مضت لسبيلها فقال :
أيا ناعيي ليلى بجانب هضبة
أما كان ينعاها إلي سواكما
ويا ناعيي ليلى بجانب هضبة
فمن بعد ليلى لا أمرت قواكما
ويا ناعيي ليلى لقد هجتما لنا
تباريح نوح في الديار كلاكما
فلا عشتما إلاحليفي مصيبة
ولا متما حتى يطول بلاكما
ثم مضى حتى دخل ديار ليلى واهلها فقدم عليهم وعزاهم وعزوه وقال دلوني على قبرها فلما عرفه رمى بنفسه عليه وأنشد :
أيا قبر ليلى لو شهدناك أعولت
عليك نساءُ من فصيح ومن عجم
ويا قبر ليلى أكرمن محلها
يكن لك ما عشنا بها نعم
ويا قبر ليلى ما تضمنت قبلها
شبيها لليلى ذا عفاف وذا كرم
