منعت المجموعة الحضرية لنواكشوط عاصمة موريتانيا الدفن في أكبر مقبرتي بالعاصمة وهما مقبرة لكصر وعرفات إلا بإذن من رئيس الجمهورية.
وأعلنت المجموعة الحضرية إغلاق المقبرتين حسب موقع ريم آفريك نظرا لعدم وجود مساحة فيهما.
وتعتبر المقبرتان من أقدم وأكبر مقبرتين بالعاصمة نواكشوط وبعموم التراب الموريتاني.
