ونزع عمال المجموعة لافتات كتبت فقط باللغة الفرنسية، وسط العاصمة انواكشوط في الشارع المعروف بشارع “ماتل” وسط حي “كبتيال”.
وصرح أحد المهتمين بالأمر أنه من غير المقبول في دولة عربية أن تحتكر أي لغة أجنبية الشارع، في إشارة إلى اللغة الفرنسية التي كثيرا ما تستعملها بعض الشركات والمحلات.
وفي خضم هذه الحملة أظهر البعض امتعاضهم من تمزيق لوحاتهم الدعائية دون إعطائهم فرصة لإضافة اللغة العربية إليها.
